The Sports Cardiology Society exists because athletes deserve a field with defined standards, not just dedicated individuals working in isolation. SCS was founded to create a genuine multidisciplinary professional home for everyone involved in athlete cardiovascular care, from physicians to athletic trainers to the technology and research partners building the diagnostic tools this field still needs, and to advocate for athlete safety from the professional level down to youth sports. In five years, we aim to be the organization anyone serious about sports cardiology turns to first.
